| The club was established in the year 1933. A businessman named Haridas Bhaduri made the donation to start the initial years of Durga puja. His grandson, Gyanendranath Bhaduri and his accomplices made the puja a successful affair. During the initial years, the lowest contribution a person can make was 2 ANA. During those days, contribution were collected from persons staying at HAZARIBAG, RAJGIR, DIBRUGAR etc. But somewhere down the line, the zeal and the glory of Dipali Sangha faded due to the ravages of time. They usually follow traditional durga puja and they do not like to experiment with the form and shape of the idol.
