C R Park is known to be the mini-Kolkata of Delhi.
And even more so, you would have your nostalgic moments during the pujas if you have ever lived in Kolkata.

K-Block in C R Park created the pandal on the theme of Rabindranath Tagores Shilaidaha Kuthibari, now in Bangladesh. Inside the pandal, it gave the impression of the library and on the walls were excerpts from the poems of Rabindranath Tagore.

This puja pandal won the first prize for Delhis best Durga Puja Pandal contest 2010, presented by The Times of India.

E-Block in GK II, which is just adjacent to C R Park, created their mandap based on Rabindranath Tagores house at Jorasanko, in North Kolkata. It is more popularly known as Jorasanko Thakurbari.

The mandap won the third prize for Delhis best Durga Puja Pandal contest 2010, presented by The Times of India.

In B-Block, you would see Shobha Bazar Rajbari, a famous jamidar bari in North Kolkata. It is a famous bonedi bari where Durga puja is celebrated since 1757. Craftsmen from Kolkata designed the pandal according to the Shobha Bazar Rajbari culture with pillars and the works. As displayed on a board at the puja mandap, Our aim is to convey the message to our new generation about our Heritage and Culture.

We at SharodInfo salute this initiative and it so reverberates with our own vision with which we bring to you .

The puja at Kendriya Vihar, Sector 51, celebrating its 12th year, is more of a community puja, where we sense the atmosphere of Bonding people & Building society (as displayed on the Kendriya Vihar Sarbajanin Durga Puja Samiti invitation card).

The bonding, the participation of the residents, the huge enthusiasm of the kids and parents alike are so visible at the Noida Sector 62 puja mandap as well. Celebrating its 9th year, the puja at Sector 62 has become one of the most popular puja in Noida. This year saw the great cultural programs by the local residents of the sector and renowned artists from Kolkata. These cultural programs and events, like drawing and recitation competition for the kids not only entertain the audience but bring out the talent of so many kids, motivating them to become great artists of the future. And how can pujas be without great food, from khichuri bhog to mangso-bhaat, the puja days are fun time at the pandal.
